Yael Yael, an Australian who lives in New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael earned a bachelor's diploma from NIDA. Her early work experience has enabled her to meet and work with Australia's top storytellers. Yael's professional career is thriving in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael relocated to New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production of the play was a huge achievement. Yael has co-founded The Cannery. The Cannery encourages innovative creativity, writing and artistic endeavors in it's Bushwick studio.
