Srushti Dehmukh started preparing for UPSC in the third semester of her engineering diploma. She questioned whether engineering was an appropriate career path for her. Once she realized her goal that she had, she set out to work in civil service. The parents of her advised her to study for civil services and pursue an impact in the community. She firmly believes the focus is the most important factor to succeed in the exam of government and becoming an official in the civil service. She made a lot of effort to ensure she passed the test in her first attempt. The routine of her day included reading newspapers in order to be up to date with all the latest information. In the online world, she found numerous study resources and also watched Rajya Sabha TV.
